Primary Function | What you'll do
Key responsibilities include conceptualizing designs, implementing solutions for complex systems/processes independently, and working closely with internal and external parties to gather business requirements. The candidate should excel in documenting system builds and application configurations, providing production system support, and resolving issues promptly.
The ideal candidate will serve as a project leader for moderate to highly complex projects, acting as a technical liaison for applications and evaluating and implementing new features and technologies.
Additional functions include identifying and mapping business requirements to Cloud functionality, conducting Functional Design Workshops, advising customers on options and risks, and leading migration of configurations, integrations, and extensions to the production environment.
Overall, the ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, functional skills, and a collaborative approach to meet the dynamic needs of our clients' ERP systems and contribute to its continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizes design, implementation, and configures solutions for complex systems/processes independently.
- Serves as a technical liaison for applications.
- Compares, evaluates, and implements new features and technologies.
- Provides technical analysis to design / develop then convert and implement work.
Additional Functions
- Identifies and maps business requirements to the Cloud functionality
- Identifies functionality gaps and builds extensions for them
- Advises customers on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
- Writes business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions
- Leads migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to the production environment
- Documents inconsistencies/ issues/ concerns for follow-up and /or resolution by the software vendor(s) as needed
Role-Specific Responsibilities | What they want
- Excellent client-facing skills working closely with internal and external parties to gather business requirements for complex business processes.
- Assists customers in preparing validation scripts, testing scenarios, and developing and executing test scripts
- Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies integrating them into the computing environment.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations with customers, vendors, and partners
Qualifications | What you'll need
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of related experience
- Solid knowledge in software application design, development, testing, and deployment specifically Oracle Fusion Grants Management/PPM
- High proficiency with application design and data modeling
- Demonstrated ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.
- Application software expertise regarding the ERP modules assigned (Grants/PPM)
- Understanding of workflows and security implications to processes supported
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Oracle Grants/PPM ERP Experience in the Technical/Functional support role
- Experience with enterprise applications and understanding of database-driven applications
- SQL scripting technical skills and strong analytical analysis
